Pelosi: Dems bear no responsibility for economic crisis

What a complete joke. It appears that in that article over at thehill.com, Pelosi refuses to believe that democrats have any responsibility in the state of the economy. She blames it all on Bush of course and says that McCain has no idea what he’s talking about.

Need I remind you Madam Speaker… that Congress controls the purse strings. To deny any responsibility is just flat out wrong. And even IF it isn’t any of the democrat’s fault (which is ludicrous), they are responsible for not doing anything about it seeing as how they control the finances. What a total joke!

When I was growing up, I was always taught to own up to my mistakes and accept the consequences.

Obama, Political Opportunist

According to this article over at the NY Post, it states that Obama tried to stall the GI Iraq withdrawal time table as discussed between the Iraqis and the Bush administration.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

“He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington,” Zebari said in an interview.

Its becoming increasingly apparent to us and even the free people of Iraq that Obama does not have their best interest in mind. This is more proof that Obama wants to use the war as a political tool to gain power and cares less of what it takes to get there. Obama does NOT want the war to be a success because it vindicates the Bush doctrine as a successful means of defense. It seems that the only people trying to dictate failure are the left. The Iraqis have acknowledged it.

Iraqi leaders are divided over the US election. Iraqi President Jalal Talabani (whose party is a member of the Socialist International) sees Obama as “a man of the Left” - who, once elected, might change his opposition to Iraq’s liberation. Indeed, say Talabani’s advisers, a President Obama might be tempted to appropriate the victory that America has already won in Iraq by claiming that his intervention transformed failure into success.
